Creating your Octa8 account
Sign up in under a minute and verify your email to unlock the platform.
Creating your Octa8 account
Your account is the front door to everything Octa8 offers — the Store, your wallet, channels and reports. Creating one takes less than a minute.
- Go to /register (the Create account link on the sign-in page).
- Enter your name, email (or phone, where enabled) and a password.
- Accept the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- Submit. If the operator has enabled a CAPTCHA, solve it to prove you're human.
Verify your email
We send a verification link to your inbox. Click it to confirm your address — most pages stay gated behind a verified email, so do this before anything else. Didn't get it? Open the verification screen and choose Resend, then check your spam folder.
Skip the password with social sign-up
You can also start straight from a provider — Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Discord or TikTok — and a verified account is created for you automatically.

Signing in (password, social login, OTP)
Choose the sign-in method that fits you — password, social provider or a one-time code.
Signing in
Octa8 supports several ways to sign in. Which ones appear on your sign-in page depends on what the operator has enabled, but the flow is always the same: prove who you are, and you land on your dashboard.
Password
The default. Go to /login, enter your email (or phone) and password, and submit. Tick Remember me on a personal device to stay signed in longer. Forgot it? Use Forgot password to get a reset link by email.
Social login
Click the provider button — Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Discord or TikTok — approve the request on their site, and you're returned signed in. If the email matches an existing account, the two are linked automatically.
One-time code (OTP) and magic link
- On the sign-in page, choose Sign in with a code (/auth/otp).
- Enter your email and request a code. Depending on configuration, it arrives by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- Type the code to finish. Prefer a link instead? The magic link option (/auth/magic-link) emails you a one-tap sign-in link.
Your dashboard at a glance
Understand what each section of your dashboard shows and where to go next.
Your dashboard at a glance
After signing in you land on your dashboard at /user/dashboard. It's the hub that summarizes your account and links out to everything you do day to day.
What you'll see
- Wallet balance — your available credit right now, with a shortcut to add more.
- Recent activity — your latest orders, payments and notifications.
- Quick actions — jump straight to the Store, a new order or your reports.
Finding your way around
- The sidebar is your main map — Store, Wallet, Channels, Profile and the Help Center all live there.
- Use the search in the Help Center (/user/help-center) to jump straight to an answer.
- Open your Profile to manage security, notifications and preferences.
Two-factor authentication & passkeys
Add a second layer of protection with an authenticator app or a device passkey.
Two-factor authentication & passkeys
A password alone can be phished or reused. Turning on a second factor means that even if someone learns your password, they still can't get in. Octa8 manages two-factor options from Profile → 2FA on /user/profile.
Authenticator app (TOTP)
- Open Profile → 2FA and choose Enable two-factor authentication.
- Scan the QR code with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
- Enter the 6-digit code the app shows to confirm.
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe — they're your backup if you ever lose the device.
Passkeys & security keys
Passkeys let you sign in with your device's biometrics — Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or a platform passkey — with no password at all. Prefer hardware? Register a security key (YubiKey, Titan or any FIDO2 device). Add either from Profile → 2FA, then confirm with the on-device prompt.
Sign-in methods & linking social accounts
Review every way you can sign in and link or unlink your social accounts.
Sign-in methods & linking social accounts
The Sign-in methods page at /user/profile/sign-in-methods is the single place to see — and manage — every way you can access your account. It lists each method, whether it's available on this site, and whether you've set it up.
The methods catalogue
- Password — always available; your baseline credential.
- Magic link (email) — request a one-time sign-in link instead of typing a password.
- Token / OTP code — a short code delivered by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- Biometrics / passkeys and security keys — managed under Profile → 2FA.
- Numeric PIN and unlock pattern — quick sign-in on trusted devices.
Linking a social account
- Open the sign-in methods page and find the provider — Google, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Discord or TikTok.
- Choose Connect and approve the request on the provider's site.
- Once linked, you can sign in with that provider in one tap.
Unlinking
To disconnect a provider, choose Disconnect next to it. Always keep at least one working method (your password or another linked provider) so you never lock yourself out.
Your public profile (/@username) — a biolink card
Turn on a standalone public page at /@you, like a biolink or digital card.
Public profile
In Profile, the Public profile control lets you publish a standalone page at /@yourusername. It is off by default and shows only what you choose — your name, @username, avatar, a headline and a short bio. Never your email, phone, plan or any account data.
It is its own page
The public profile has no platform menu or floating widget — it is a clean, autonomous card, ready to be redesigned as a biolink later.
Share your affiliate link from your public profile
Add a "Join" button to your public page so sign-ups are credited to you.
Affiliate link on your @profile
If the affiliate program is available to you, your public profile can show a Join button carrying your referral link. Anyone who signs up through it is credited to you.
Toggle Show my affiliate signup link in the Public profile control. Only the referral URL is ever exposed — never your balances or commissions.
Trusted devices & where you're signed in
See every active session and the devices that skip 2FA — and revoke any of them.
Devices & sessions
Under Profile → Security → Devices you get two lists:
- Where you're signed in — every active session, with device + browser. Sign out any one, or sign out of all other sessions with your password.
- Trusted devices — the devices that skip the 2FA prompt. Revoke any of them; they'll be challenged again next sign-in.
Use Trust this device to let your current browser skip 2FA for 90 days. Both lists paginate, so they stay readable with many entries.
Your marketplace, centralized in your profile
Find your purchases, your listings and every marketplace in one profile tab.
Marketplace in your profile
The Profile → Marketplace tab gathers everything you buy and sell in one place: your purchases, your listings, and a launcher into every marketplace surface (storefront, AI agents, personas, prompts, automations, integrations, page templates). No more hunting across the app.
Workspaces & teams
How multi-tenant workspaces, teams and permissions fit together.
Workspaces & teams
Each workspace is an isolated tenant. Invite team members, assign roles, and keep data scoped to the right workspace.
Channels & integrations
Connect the channels and third-party services the platform supports.
Channels & integrations
Connect messaging channels, social platforms and external APIs from the integrations hub. Credentials are managed centrally and securely.
Adding balance (top up your wallet)
Add credit to your wallet so orders are paid instantly from your balance.
Adding balance (top up your wallet)
Your wallet funds everything you buy on Octa8. Orders are charged from your balance the moment you place them, so keeping credit on hand means checkout is one click. Manage it from /user/wallet and top up at /user/wallet/topup.
Top up step by step
- Open the wallet and choose Add credit, or go straight to /user/wallet/topup.
- Pick a quick amount preset or type a custom amount.
- Choose a payment method — an active gateway lets you pay by PIX or card, and a saved card finishes in one click.
- Confirm. If you pay by PIX, scan the QR code or copy the code into your banking app.
When does the balance appear?
Card and one-click top-ups credit almost immediately. PIX and other confirmations land as soon as the gateway notifies us — the payment status page polls live, so you'll see it flip to Approved without refreshing. If no gateway is active, you can submit a manual top-up request for the operator to confirm.
Never run out: automatic balance recharge
Charge a saved card automatically whenever your wallet balance runs low — for any use.
Automatic recharge (auto-pay)
Open Wallet → Payment methods and turn on Automatic recharge. Set:
- Recharge when balance is below — the low-balance threshold.
- Top up by — how much to add each time.
- Charge this card — one of your saved cards.
From then on, whenever a purchase drops your balance below the threshold — from any feature — we charge that card to top it back up, right away. A single low balance can never block your work.
Pricing, tokens & how charges work
Understand how prices are quoted, how your balance is debited and where refunds land.
Pricing, tokens & how charges work
Octa8 uses a prepaid wallet model: you keep a balance, and each purchase debits it. Knowing how prices are quoted and when you're charged keeps your spending predictable.
How prices are quoted
- Store services are priced per 1,000 units (per 1k). The order form multiplies that rate by your quantity and shows the total and your balance after before you confirm.
- Some services have a minimum and maximum quantity — the form enforces the allowed range.
- Discount coupons, where available, are applied at checkout before the charge.
When you're charged
- The total is debited from your wallet immediately when you place the order.
- If your balance is short, you're prompted to top up first — nothing is charged until funds are available.
- If an order is delivered only partially, the undelivered difference is refunded back to your wallet automatically.
Following the money
Every movement — top-ups, charges, refunds, bonuses, loyalty and more — is listed under /user/transactions, with filters by date, module and direction (inflow vs outflow).
Saved cards & automatic recharge
Save a card for one-tap top-ups and let charges settle without re-entering details.
Saved cards & automatic recharge
Saving a card turns every future top-up into a single tap and lets approved charges settle off-session. Manage your cards at /user/wallet/payment-methods.
How saving a card works
You add a card from the top-up page by choosing Save this card for later. The card is tokenized on the gateway's own domain — Octa8 never sees or stores the full card number. We keep only the brand, the last four digits, the expiry and an opaque token used to charge it next time. Supported gateways include Stripe, MercadoPago, ASAAS, Pagar.me and EFI Bank.
Managing your cards
- Open Saved cards to see every card on file.
- Make default the card you want used for one-click top-ups and off-session charges.
- Rename a card (for example "Personal Visa") to tell them apart.
- Remove a card you no longer use — it's detached at the gateway too, where supported.
About automatic recharge
A saved default card is what enables hands-off recharges: when the platform needs to settle a charge off-session, it uses that card so your balance and orders keep flowing without re-entering details. 3-D Secure runs inline whenever your bank requires it.
Placing your first order in the Store
Browse the catalog, pick a service, paste your link and check out from your wallet.
Placing your first order in the Store
The Store is where you buy services. Browse the public catalog at /store, and place and manage orders from your account at /user/smm, which is organized into tabs: Overview, New order, Mass order, Orders, Transactions and Favorites.
Place an order
- Open the New order tab and pick a category, then a service. Each service shows its price per 1k, allowed range and quality score.
- Paste the link — a profile, post or video URL (or an @username), in the format the service expects. We validate and canonicalize it for you.
- Enter the quantity within the service's min/max. The form shows the total and your balance after.
- Optionally enable drip-feed (gradual delivery in batches) or schedule a start time.
- Choose Place order and pay from your wallet balance. Building a bigger basket? Add several services to the cart and check out together.
Before you confirm
- Make sure the link is correct and the profile is public for the whole delivery.
- Check whether the service has a refill warranty — some have none, meaning drops aren't replaced.
Mass orders (many links at once)
Create dozens of orders in one go by pasting one line per order.
Mass orders (many links at once)
When you need to push the same kind of order across many links, the Mass order tab on /user/smm lets you create them all at once. Each line you paste becomes an independent order.
The line format
Put one order per line, with three fields separated by a pipe (|):
- service_id — the numeric ID of the service.
- link — the profile, post or video URL (links without
https://are auto-fixed). - qty — the quantity for that line.
For example: 1234 | https://instagram.com/p/abc | 500
How it validates
- As you paste, each line is parsed live. Valid lines are counted; invalid ones turn red with the reason and are skipped on submit.
- Duplicate lines (same service + link) are flagged so you can catch accidental repeats — you can still submit if it's intentional.
- The panel shows the estimated total. If it exceeds your balance, you get a Top up now link.
- Choose Create N orders to submit. Your wallet is debited immediately and you'll see how many succeeded and how many failed.
Tracking an order
Follow an order from pending to completed, and request a refill or cancel when allowed.
Tracking an order
Every order you place is followed end to end. Open the Orders tab on /user/smm to see status, delivery progress, start count and remaining units for each one.
Order statuses
- Pending / Awaiting approval — received, queued for dispatch.
- Processing / In progress — running at the provider; progress updates as units are delivered.
- Completed — fully delivered.
- Partial — delivered in part; the difference is refunded to your wallet.
- Cancelled / Refunded / Failed — stopped; any charge is reversed where applicable.
Actions on an order
- Request refill — on warranty-backed services, asks the provider to replace dropped units.
- Cancel order — where the service supports it and the order isn't already in a final state.
- Open link — jump to the target you ordered for.
Public status lookup
You don't have to sign in to check a status. Visit /tracking and enter the order number, or open a deep link of the form /tracking?ref=ORDER_NUMBER. This view is status-only and exposes no personal data.
Order without an account (guest checkout)
Place a store order in seconds — verify a contact, no sign-up — and track it by reference.
Guest checkout
On the Store, click Order now on any service. Fill the target link and quantity, choose how to verify (WhatsApp or e-mail), and enter your contact. We send a 6-digit code; enter it to place the order — no account needed.
After confirming, you land on the tracking page with your order reference. Keep that reference to check delivery status any time at /tracking.
Connecting a WhatsApp channel
Link a WhatsApp number by scanning a QR code so you can send and receive messages.
Connecting a WhatsApp channel
Connecting WhatsApp lets Octa8 send and receive messages through your number — handy for order updates and conversations. Your channels live in the hub at /user/channels.
Connect via QR code (Evolution)
- Go to /user/whatsapp/evolution and choose Create & show QR to provision an instance.
- On your phone, open WhatsApp → Linked devices → Link a device.
- Scan the QR code shown on screen. The page waits and updates automatically.
- When it reads Connected!, the number is linked and ready to send and receive.
Official WhatsApp Cloud API
For a business number on Meta's official API, the platform also supports WhatsApp Cloud. That connection is configured by the operator with your WhatsApp Business credentials rather than a QR scan — ask your operator to enable it if you need the official API.
Connecting social channels
Authorize your social profiles and pages so the platform can act on your behalf.
Connecting social channels
Beyond WhatsApp, Octa8 connects to a wide range of social channels — Facebook Pages, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Mastodon, Discord and more. All of them are managed from the channels hub at /user/channels.
The connect flow
- Open /user/channels and pick the channel you want to add.
- Choose Connect. You're redirected to the provider to sign in and authorize access.
- Approve the requested permissions on the provider's site.
- You're returned to Octa8. For providers with multiple assets (e.g. several Facebook Pages or YouTube channels), pick the exact page, profile or channel to link.
Keeping channels healthy
Authorizations can expire when you change a password or revoke access at the provider. The Channels health page flags any channel that needs re-authorizing — just run the connect flow again to refresh it.
Connect a website channel
Add a site the same way you connect any other channel.
Add a website
In Channels, choose Add site (or Add WordPress site). Like every other channel, it takes you straight to its own page to finish connecting — manage your sites from there. OAuth channels send you to the provider to authorize; the website channel opens its dedicated sites page. Same flow, every channel.
Generating reports
Filter your activity by date and module and read the totals that summarize it.
Generating reports
Octa8 turns your raw activity into readable reports so you can see where your spend goes and how your orders perform. Most of what you need lives in the transactions view and your Store overview.
Your transactions report
- Open /user/transactions for a unified view across wallet, loyalty, plan, affiliate and order charges.
- Pick a period — Last 7 / 30 / 90 days or Month to date — or set a custom From and To.
- Filter by module and by direction (inflow vs outflow) to narrow it down.
- Read the summary cards: Total inflow, Total outflow, Net and Total transactions.
Order analytics in the Store
The Overview tab on /user/smm charts your order history and spend over a window, shows status distribution, spend by category and your top services, plus headline stats like total invested, success rate and average ticket.
Share a file with a public link
Turn any file in your library into a shareable link in two clicks.
Share a file
Open Files, find the file, and choose Share on the row (or in the ⋯ menu). A panel opens where you can generate a public link, copy it, and open it in a new tab.
What the link does
- Anyone with the link can view and download the file — no account needed.
- You see live view and download counters for the link.
- Turn the link off any time with Disable, or mint a brand-new one with New link (the old URL stops working).
To stop sharing entirely, use Revoke: the token, password and counters are removed.
Protect a share: password, expiry & sensitive flag
Lock a shared file with a password, set an expiry date, or warn about sensitive content.
Add protection to a share
In the share panel you can layer three independent protections:
Password
Type a password (4+ characters) and save. Visitors must enter it before they can view or download. Use Remove to clear it later.
Expiry
Set an Expires date/time; after it passes, the link shows a friendly "no longer available" page instead of the file.
Sensitive / 18+
Toggle Mark as sensitive / 18+ to show a content-warning interstitial that visitors must acknowledge before the file is revealed.
Serve share links on your own domain
Send share links from a platform domain or your own verified domain instead of the default.
Custom domains for share links
When you share a file, the Link domain picker lets you choose where the link is served from:
- Default — the standard app domain.
- Platform domains — any extra domains the platform offers.
- Your domains — custom domains you have added and verified.
The chosen host is saved per file, so the public link is built on it. The link resolves on any domain that points at the platform, so a verified custom domain keeps your branding end to end.
Find stock images & videos
Search connected providers for stock media and send the best picks straight to your library.
Search media online
From Files → Search online, pick a provider, type a keyword and browse results. Send any result into your Files library in one click.
If a search comes back empty
An empty result now tells you why: a real "no matches" looks different from a provider error. If a provider is misconfigured, rate-limited or down, you get a clear message (e.g. "Unsplash is unavailable right now") instead of a silent blank — check the provider key in settings or try again shortly.
Start a video meeting
Create a meeting for your team, a one-off call, or live support — then share the link.
Start a meeting
Open Meet and click Create meeting (an optional title helps). You get a shareable public link you can copy, join, or end from the list.
Meetings run in the browser over the platform's video stack — mic, camera and multiple participants. Use them for team calls or to give a customer live support: just send them the link.
Join a meeting from a link
Open a /meet link and join the room from your browser — no install, no account.
Join a meeting
Open the /meet/… link someone shared. The room loads in your browser; allow microphone (and camera, if you want) and you're in. Controls let you mute, toggle your camera, and leave.
If the link shows a "meeting ended" page, ask the host for a new one — links stop working once the meeting is ended.
API keys & the unified API console
Generate keys, read the docs and wire up webhooks from one place at /user/api.
The API console
API & keys (in your profile, or at /user/api) is the single, tabbed console for everything programmatic: automation API keys, inbound publishing endpoints, outbound webhooks (Zapier, n8n, custom), short links and more. Each plugin that exposes an API shows up as its own tab.
Generate a key, copy it once (it is shown only at creation), and use it with the documented endpoints. The standalone Automation page now lives here as a native tab.
