Pricing, tokens & how charges work

Understand how prices are quoted, how your balance is debited and where refunds land.

Pricing, tokens & how charges work

Octa8 uses a prepaid wallet model: you keep a balance, and each purchase debits it. Knowing how prices are quoted and when you're charged keeps your spending predictable.

How prices are quoted

  • Store services are priced per 1,000 units (per 1k). The order form multiplies that rate by your quantity and shows the total and your balance after before you confirm.
  • Some services have a minimum and maximum quantity — the form enforces the allowed range.
  • Discount coupons, where available, are applied at checkout before the charge.

When you're charged

  1. The total is debited from your wallet immediately when you place the order.
  2. If your balance is short, you're prompted to top up first — nothing is charged until funds are available.
  3. If an order is delivered only partially, the undelivered difference is refunded back to your wallet automatically.

Following the money

Every movement — top-ups, charges, refunds, bonuses, loyalty and more — is listed under /user/transactions, with filters by date, module and direction (inflow vs outflow).

Tip: check balance after on the order form before you confirm. It's the fastest way to avoid a failed checkout from insufficient funds.
